Guardian's first float glass plant begins operation in Carleton, Michigan, USA

Three more float plants & two more fabrication plants begin operations in the USA, and one fabrication plant begins operation in Ontario, Canada

Guardian Fiberglass begins operation in Albion, Michigan, USA

Guardian adds six more operations, including its first European float plant, located in Luxembourg

Guardian goes private after 17 years public

Guardian adds thirteen more operations, including its first South American float plant, located in Venezuela

Guardian's first Asian plant begins operation in Saraburi province, Thailand, producing clear float glass
